1 July   Finland's EU Presidency has started
Finland's six-month Presidency of the Council of the European Union began on 1 July 2006. In the field of statistics the main responsibility during the Presidency lies with Statistics Finland. Information about priorities and legislative dossiers under discussion can be found on the Presidency Website.
