01 Residential buildings

Buildings intended for continuous living use where the living space constitutes at least one-half of the total floor area.

The living space in residential buildings is a dwelling unit or dwelling room. Residential buildings consist of one or several dwelling units or rooms or other space used by the residents, like apartment-specific storage, clubroom or sauna.; Living in residential buildings is of permanent nature and primarily based on tenure of the apartment either based on ownership or tenancy.; Residential buildings include both residential buildings containing conventional space and equipment solutions and ones that contain unusual solutions.
