Building costs grew by 0.7 per cent year-on-year in February

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.7 per cent higher in February 2015 than in February of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction increased by 1.2 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 0.6 per cent and the prices of other inputs by 0.1 per cent from one year ago.

From January to February, the total index of building costs declined slightly. The prices of labour inputs remained unchanged from the previous month. The prices of materials decreased by 0.3 per cent. Prices of other inputs increased by 0.2 per cent from January.
