Previous months' data of the statistics on building and dwelling production have been updated

 

There was an error in the September to October data of the statistics on building and dwelling production that concerned the calculation of the volume index of newbuilding. The error was caused by problems in the system environment, which resulted in the index calculation method not working properly. The error only applies to the volume index of newbuilding, the previously released data concerning building permits have been correct.

 

As a result of the correction, the time series of the volume index of newbuilding will be considerably revised starting from the beginning of 2016.
